Nicole Fegan, who defended a YSL member, now faces felony costs herself for allegedly aiding gang exercise and distributing medicine.

Nicole Fegan, an Atlanta felony protection lawyer who represented a YSL defendant within the high-profile gang and racketeering case, was indicted Monday (July 21) in Fulton County on costs together with drug trafficking and gang exercise tied to her conduct in the course of the trial.

Prosecutors allege Fegan used her position as authorized counsel to assist felony operations, together with smuggling methamphetamine, oxycodone and marijuana to her incarcerated shopper, Tenquarius Mender, who can also be charged within the indictment.

Fegan can also be accused of working with considered one of Mender’s associates to ship medicine and allegedly gave Mender Apple AirPods whereas he was in custody.

The indictment, introduced July 21, claims Fegan tipped off a fugitive about key proof, inspired a gang member to destroy a telephone and tried to impede a separate homicide investigation by instructing a suspect to eliminate his cellphone.

Fegan, who based Fegan Law, LLC, was arrested in February 2024 in reference to the deadly taking pictures case and launched on a $40,000 bond.

We look forward to fighting these false allegations,” Findling said in a statement.

Fegan has no prior disciplinary report with the State Bar of Georgia and stays in good standing as of July 2025.

The checklist of costs in opposition to Fegan contains trafficking methamphetamine, possession of a Schedule II drug with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana beneath one ounce, participation in felony avenue gang exercise, violating Georgia’s Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act, and felony solicitation to tamper with proof.
