Timbo is a 26 12 months previous rapper from Louisville, Kentucky notable for being the eldest son of Mobstyle Music founder Bukshot. The latter of whom you might be accustomed to both via his solo materials or his memberships with teams like The Underground Avengers, The Horde, The Berzerkers, Cabal & Double Dragon spanning in an almost 3 decade profession. Following his dad’s footsteps, none aside from MIKE SUMMERS a.ok.a. Seven has locked in with Timbo for the latter’s official debut EP.
“Silence” opens with a cloudy ratchet instrumental speaking about being the sort to chorus from losing his time on some minimal bullshit whereas “Duck Down” throws it again to The Neptunes’ late 90s sound feeling like he’s had sufficient with all of the questions getting thrown in the direction of his path. The jazzy lure crossover “Ordained” finds himself flexing that nobody can fuck with him & the lo-fi “Cool Breeze” advises to not come at him until it’s purposeful.
It’s a bit totally different in sound in comparison with what we’ve gotten out of Mobstyle Music for almost 3 a long time at this level, however Timbo’s inaugural physique of labor makes a formidable introduction as to who he’s each artistically & personally dissecting his Perfect Imperfections over MIKE SUMMERS a.ok.a. Seven’s expectedly detailed manufacturing carrying on his father’s legacy by coming to his personal.
Score: 8/10
