Halle Berry seemingly reacts to her ex-husband, David Justice, saying the rationale the 2 obtained a divorce is as a result of she wasn’t “motherly.”

Berry and David was married from 1993 to 1997. “I was young and had only been in one real relationship before her,” he stated throughout a latest episode of All the Smoke podcast. “My knowledge and my understanding, my wisdom around relationships just wasn’t vast.”

“I’m thinking, ‘OK, if we have kids, is this the woman I want to have kids with and build a family with?’” he recalled. “And at that time, as a young guy, she don’t cook, don’t clean, don’t really seem motherly—and then we start having issues.”

“We spent a lot of time apart because she was doing movies in this country, that country,” he defined. “Honestly, we probably could have made it if I knew about therapy.”

“She asked me to marry her after knowing me for five months,” he famous. “I said OK, but I don’t know if my heart was really into it. I didn’t want to make her feel bad and say no.”

David’s feedback has since went viral, even sparking a response from Halle Berry herself.

She shared a sequence of photographs through Instagram and captioned it, “Phew…! cooking, cleaning and mothering..”
