Big Boi addressed the heartbreaking lack of his uncle Remoin Patton Sr. after a highway rage capturing in Atlanta.

Big Boi is mourning the devastating lack of his uncle after a highway rage confrontation turned lethal on a busy Atlanta avenue final month.

Remoin Thomas Patton Sr., 66, was shot and killed on June 16 whereas making an attempt to make a flip close to Joseph E. Lowery Boulevard NW and Rock Street, in response to the Atlanta Police Department.

The altercation escalated when Patton exchanged phrases with one other driver and was shot within the again. His automobile then crashed right into a vacant house.

The man accused of pulling the set off, 18-year-old Jabyrion Crumbley, turned himself in on July 2. He faces expenses of homicide, aggravated assault and unlawful possession of a firearm.

His alleged confederate, 32-year-old Janisha Crumbley, was arrested on June 20 for hindering the apprehension of a fugitive.

Patton’s nephew, Big Boi, one-half of the legendary Hip-Hop duo Outkast, issued a heartfelt assertion following the tragedy.

“Everybody who knows Uncle Moonie heart aches,” he instructed WSB-TV. “He wasn’t just ‘My’ Uncle, he was Unk to all that met him. A moment of rage has in totally pierced the heart of my family forever. May Uncle Moonie’s soul rest in peace.”

Police stated the incident started as a site visitors dispute and shortly escalated into violence.

After being shot, Patton misplaced management of his automobile and crashed into a close-by residence. No one inside the house was injured.

The Atlanta Police Department launched an investigation instantly after the capturing. Surveillance footage and witness accounts helped establish the suspects.

Jabyrion Crumbley stays in custody as of July 3.

His subsequent court docket look has not but been scheduled.
