Rapper Ay Huncho averted hurt after a hail of bullets struck his former residence in western Sydney early Sunday in what police are calling a harmful escalation tied to ongoing gang rivalries.

Just after 1 A.M., gunmen opened fireplace on a home on Harris Street in Merrylands, a property the place the Hip-Hop artist as soon as lived. Inside the house have been members of his household, two ladies, ages 22 and 40 and a 15-year-old boy.

Police described the taking pictures as reckless and deliberate.

Investigators confirmed the house beforehand belonged to Ay Huncho, who was granted bail final month regardless of police opposition. Authorities allege the rapper has ties to the Alameddine crime network, a gaggle linked to a number of violent incidents throughout western Sydney.



The Alameddine group has been beneath intense scrutiny by New South Wales Police. In March, officers carried out large-scale raids, claiming they dismantled a lot of the gang’s infrastructure.

Despite these efforts, Sunday’s taking pictures suggests the violence is way from over.

The NSW Police’s Taskforce Falcon, created to reply to a surge in public shootings and stabbings, is now concerned within the investigation.

According to police, this isn’t the primary time Ay Huncho or his circle has been focused. In June, a 15-year-old and a 22-year-old allegedly attacked the house of the rapper’s bodyguard in Guildford.

The suspects reportedly stabbed the bodyguard’s father throughout the incident.

Authorities at the moment are working to find out if Sunday’s gunfire is a part of a broader sample of retaliation and inner disputes throughout the Alameddine community.

Ay Huncho, who has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing, stays out on bail as his authorized case continues.
