Lil Durk is pushing to have his federal murder-for-hire case tossed, claiming prosecutors are hiding key info that may enable him to mount a good protection in courtroom.

The Chicago-born rapper is accused of orchestrating a plot to kill a person recognized as Quando Rondo, in retaliation for the 2020 killing of his close friend King Von.

Prosecutors allege Durk used coded messages and promised money or music offers via his Only The Family (OTF) collective to incentivize the hit.

Federal authorities say Durk directed his crew to fly from Chicago to Los Angeles in August 2022 to kill Quando Rondo, who managed to flee the broad daylight capturing at a fuel station.

Quando Rondo’s cousin, Saviay’a “Lul Pab” Robinson, was shot lifeless in the course of the violent altercation.

Defense attorneys say the federal government has not recognized who acquired the messages, what the alleged code phrases had been, or when and the place any affords had been made.

They argue that the shortage of element violates Durk’s constitutional rights and will result in a conviction based mostly on unclear or shifting allegations.
