Cardi B Releases Her Highly Anticipated Album ‘Am I The Drama?’

After years of hypothesis and delays, Cardi B has formally launched her sophomore studio album, Am I The Drama?. The 23-track venture arrived Friday (Sept. 19), marking her first full-length album since her Grammy-winning 2018 debut Invasion of Privacy.
The Bronx rapper enlisted a formidable roster of collaborators for her long-awaited follow-up. The album options appearances from music heavyweights and rising stars alike, together with Janet Jackson, Lizzo, Selena Gomez, Megan Thee Stallion, Kehlani, Summer Walker, Tyla, and Cash Cobain.
Fans may also discover Cardi’s chart-topping hits “WAP” (with Megan Thee Stallion) and “Up” on the tracklist — a transfer that sparked some debate on-line. Cardi defended the choice, saying these data “deserve a home” on the album given their cultural influence.
Leading as much as launch, Cardi previewed the venture with singles like “Outside” and “Imaginary Playerz.” On launch day, she dropped “Safe” that includes Kehlani, a melodic standout that’s already drawing buzz as a possible hit.
