50 Cent couldn’t resist roasting Ice Cube after his new War of the Worlds adaptation bombed with a uncommon 0% Rotten Tomatoes rating.
50 Cent took intention at Ice Cube early Wednesday morning (August 6), clowning the rap legend’s newest movie after it earned a humiliating 0% critic rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
The leisure mogul shared screenshots of the unfavorable opinions on Instagram, writing in disbelief:
“How you get a 0 percent rating? Nah somebody mad at Cube. Now I’m scared to watch it LOL.”
The film in query is Prime Video’s 2025 adaptation of War of the Worlds, starring Ice Cube in a tech-heavy survival thriller.
But each critics and audiences have been brutal, calling out the movie’s wood performing, clunky dialogue, and low-budget visuals.
As of August 2025, the movie holds a uncommon 0% “rotten” score from 10 critic opinions, with many evaluating it to a foul desktop surveillance drama as an alternative of an alien invasion spectacle.
Variety labeled the film a “disastrous retelling,” mocking Cube’s efficiency as “a brash, street-smart Mission: Impossible wannabe glued to computer screens and profanity.”

The movie’s greatest “highlight”? A cheaply rendered “three-legged combat machine” that followers say seems to be straight out of a 2003 online game.
Despite the backlash, Ice Cube has but to reply—although with 50 main the cost, the web may not let this flop fade quietly.
