Jada Pinkett Smith Facing $3M Lawsuit From Will Smith’s Former Assistant
Jada Pinkett-Smith is being sued by Will Smith’s former assistant.
According to PEOPLE, Pinkett-Smith has been accused of threatening Bilaal Salaam. She allegedly stated he would “end up missing” or “catch a bullet” if he continued “telling her business.”
Salaam, who says he’s been a “best friend” of Will Smith for nearly 40 years, claims he’s “worked closely” with the actor. He famous that he was included photographs within the actor’s memoir Will.”
Salaam claims that Pinkett Smith confronted him within the foyer of the Regency Calabasas Commons on Sept. 25, 2021, at a personal party.
The lawsuit:
The swimsuit states that Pinkett Smith was accompanied by “approximately seven members of her entourage.” Salaam’s grievance says that Pinkett Smith then “became verbally aggressive” and demanded he signal an NDA.
The submitting states that Pinkett Smith adopted Salaam to his automotive “while continuing to issue verbal threats.” Salaam additionally claims he refused a request to help with “crisis management” following the Academy Awards after Smith slapped Chris Rock.
“Plaintiff refused to perform tasks he believed were illegal, unethical, or morally compromising. His conscience would not allow him to be involved in any cover-up or deceptive PR campaign,” Salaam’s submitting alleges.
Salaam then claimed he acquired threats from Smith and Pinkett Smith’s circle, and that he was the goal of a “retaliatory campaign.”
He additionally alleges that when it was found that he was writing a “whistleblower memoir,” the “smear campaign heightened.”
During an interview with Unwine With Tasha Ok, Salaam alleged he saw Smith engaging in a sexual act with actor Duane Martin.

Salaam is looking for $3 million in monetary damages.
