In an unique HOT97 interview, the rapper opened up about organizing a Thanksgiving turkey drive for households in want, whereas his mom, Momma Flock, has been the bridge between his imaginative and prescient and the neighborhood he grew up in.

“This week is all about giving back and blessings,” Kay Flock stated. “Thanksgiving is coming, and I want to give back to my community and help out as much as I can.” Momma Flock smiled as she recalled the dialog: “He wants to make sure the shelters always have what they need. Even neighbors he didn’t know. One neighbor said, ‘Oh my god, your son is such a blessing. You don’t even know him, and he’s helping me.’ That’s who he is.”

For Kay, music and neighborhood work are inseparable. “He keeps moving forward and wants to help others do the same. The better you do, the better you get. The worse you do, the worse you get,” Momma Flock defined. Collaborations with artists like Cardi B have impressed him additional. “She’s amazing, so friendly, so down to earth. Her working with my son was incredible. He’s inspired by seeing people from our neighborhood give back and lift others.”
