The 13x-Grammy winner will seem in unique interviews and share never-before-seen footage from his private archives.
“Finally telling the story of my life,” Babyface stated on Instagram. “And I’m honored to do it with the best.”
The documentary will highlight his work with a who’s who of music legends, together with Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey, Lil Wayne, Beyoncé, Madonna, Toni Braxton, Bobby Brown, Eric Clapton, Mary J. Blige, Boyz II Men and SZA.
In a press release, Babyface mirrored on the emotional excavation the undertaking has required.
“I’ve often wondered how an unassuming kid from Indianapolis got to where he is today, working with artists and achieving dreams I could’ve never imagined when I first started,” he stated. “This documentary is giving me a chance to go down memory lane with a fine-tooth comb, reexamining the highs and lows of my life and career. I’m discovering where all the songs really came from — and perhaps just as important, the how and why.”
The movie may also embody behind-the-scenes footage from Babyface’s upcoming Las Vegas residency on the Pearl Concert Theater at Palms Casino Resort, the place he’s scheduled for 4 weekend reveals in 2026.
