Rory Faces Heavy Backlash Over Alleged “Black Women Are "Ugly” & "Roaches"

Rory and Maul face a fan backlash over Kendrick Lamar feedback, as previous tweets resurface and Demaris deletes her Twitter amid on-line assaults.

Rory, one half of The Rory & Mal Podcast, is in the course of a full-blown firestorm after previous tweets… actual and allegedly pretend…resurfaced. It looks as if he as soon as made disparaging remarks about Black ladies. The controversy, which erupted after the crew’s feedback about Kendrick Lamar’s Grammy possibilities, has now shifted focus completely to accusations of racism and colorism.

It all started when followers dug into Rory’s previous social media exercise following a debate on whether or not Clipse or GNX deserved “Album of the Year” on the looming Grammys. What began as music speak shortly spiraled right into a “trial” on Twitter (X), with customers posting screenshots that appeared to indicate Rory calling Black ladies “ugly” and “roaches.” Oh…you recognize it was on.

Rory joined a dwell Twitter Space with Kendrick Lamar followers to defend himself and that’s when issues actually exploded. “I never called Black women ugly. I never called them roaches,” Rory insisted. “There was a fake retweet that said, ‘I think Black women are ugly,’ and another that got spliced together to make it look like I said it. That’s not me.”

But the web wasn’t satisfied.

The screenshots unfold.

And then he tried to be sarcastic about it. “Yeah, no, I hate Black women. I think all Black women are ugly,” in a very patronizing approach.

“I don’t know if you can really troll your way out of this one,” a dude stated, checking him sternly. Many accused Rory of gaslighting and enjoying sufferer. This is nasty work.

Mal tried, however issues solely bought worse. Demaris, a Black girl on the podcast, was already within the scorching seat for saying she “hated Kendrick Lamar’s voice.” She bounced from Twitter and didn’t step in.

Rory later apologized and clarified. He even stated a number of the tweets have been pretend.

“That video was me mocking how ridiculous the accusations were. I was being sarcastic, but I get that it came off bad,” he stated. “Some of those tweets were made up. I’m not apologizing for something I didn’t say.” Sounds like persons are gunning for his or her sponsors now.

I don’t understand how I really feel, however I believe individuals deserve some trustworthy commentary, not trolling, half-hearted apologies and sarcasm. But that’s me.
