Misery Coast is a horrorcore & manufacturing duo consisting of Grand Rapids, Michigan rapper, singer/songwriter, producer & music“>Dirtcore music founder Crossworm and Windsor, Ontario, Canada rapper/producer J Reno. These guys have already been established throughout the underground depraved shit scene individually for over a decade or 2 already, forming final Christmas after having a pair tracks land on the Dirtcore showcase compilation. Some of the label’s acts had the consideration of performing on the Gathering of Legends or the twenty fifth annual Gathering of the Juggalos this summer season & with Hallowicked festivities in just a few days, Misery Coast’s trying to introduce themselves by releasing a model new EP.
After the “Coast is Cursed” intro, the primary track “Dance with the Devil” begins with a cold-blooded growth bap instrumental speaking about sitting beside a hearth the place the misplaced souls go whereas “I Fuckin’ Do” takes a rap rock strategy to the beat flexing they’ve the keys to a useless metropolis. “Feed the Fear” talks about loss of life all the time being close by irrespective of how far anyone tries to run from it & a haunted heartbeat stealing sleep main into the “Coast is Clear” interlude.
“Welcome to” begins the 2nd half of the prolonged play with Crossworm & J Reno by dabbling with lure advising to ignore all of the corpses beneath them trying to trigger greater than merely disorderly conduct whereas “The Ghost of Who I Used to Be” returns to the growth bap with some sampling speaking about seeing half variations of themselves. “Is It Even Halloween?” celebrates the upcoming vacation with a 2 & a half minute depraved shit heater whereas “1 Last Cloud” finishes by speaking about being born with violent cores.
Similarly to what Bodies Below Sea Level did with their eponymous debut album on the very starting of November instantly following the earlier Hallowicked season, it’s Misery Coast flip to correctly introduce themselves as a bunch with a 21 minute EP offering depressive depraved shit for the hopeless & J Reno persevering with to convey Crossworm proper again to his hip hop roots in time for this weekend.
